VOICE / SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
(for ages 6 and up)
What to expect during a typical Voice Lesson:
Learn to sing like a PRO, the music you love! Our voice teachers can teach in a variety of styles such as Broadway, Pop, Contemporary, Disney, Chart Hits, Jazz and Blues Standards, Gospel, Sacred, Classical, Art Songs, Foreign Language, Opera, – you name it! They will work with you to help achieve your goals and musical interest.
Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation, how to use a mic, stage moves, stage presence, how to "sell" a song on stage, front a band, how to tell a story through music, and more!
All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favorite recording artists, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice. Beginning students can expect to start with the fundamentals of singing such as learning proper posture, correct breath management, and vocalization. More advanced and experienced students continue to progress in their singing lessons with a goal of proficiency in advanced vocal technique, notation, rhythm, diction, and foreign languages.
