Student Showcase
What is the Student Showcase?
We have two large Student Showcases per year. We put together several recitals, grouped by teacher/instrument. Each recital is 30 minutes long, then you can spend the rest of the day celebrating the amazing performance! For example: our Winter 2023 Showcase presented 34 separate recitals, over two weekends, with a total of 275 students performing. Our recitals are fun and low-pressure, so students can focus on developing a love of performing on stage, in a very friendly and encouraging atmosphere. When are the Student Showcases? The Summer Showcase is always in mid/late June, and the Winter Showcase is in early December. Click here to be directed to our School Calendar where you will find the exact dates. Where are the Student Showcases? Since December 2022, we’ve held all of our Student Showcases IN-HOUSE, in our very own Recital Hall - in the dance studio right next to where students have their lessons! A link with directions to the recital hall is available above, or click here for Directions/Parking. We have room for each student to bring around 5 seated guests, as well as limited standing space. No need to worry about purchasing tickets — it is free to attend our Student Showcases! Who is able to perform? All students are welcome (and encouraged!) to perform at the Showcase. We also have recitals for our young Music FunTime students! Performing is never mandatory, but we do highly encourage it, as it is a great opportunity to build confidence on stage, in a friendly, encouraging, and loving environment. |
Admission Charge? No, these events are free and open to the public.
How long does it last? About 30 minutes each performance, in a one hour window.
