Sam - Drums
After graduating from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor in music performance, Sam began teaching music classes at summer camps and various after school programs. He continues to split his musical efforts amongst teaching as well as performing and recording with his original bands, having received critical acclaim for the album "So much for Romance" by The Antivillains (2009). Sam's primary focus as a teacher is to encourage good working habits, as well as self-reliance and confidence in his students, while of course developing fundamental musical skills and awareness. Solid time keeping, coordination/limb interdependence, and music reading skills are all part of the teaching method Sam implements with his students of all ages and skill levels.
Teaching lessons and performing with various bands takes up all his time, however he always finds time for his Detroit Red Wings.
