Kevin - Piano
Kevin began studying the piano at age seven with an initial emphasis on classical technique and sight-reading. He now enjoys performing professionally in the genres of jazz, R&B and funk. His history of performances began in elementary school at holiday events. During his years at Whitmer High School, Kevin performed as the piano player in the musical “Into the Woods,” played the tuba and trombone with the marching and symphonic bands, and served all four years as the pianist for the jazz band.
During his early college years, Kevin joined and worked with several different bands for a short period of time, and currently performs solo and as a duo/band with professional songwriter and singer, “David Winfree.” David Winfree is an internationally recognized talk box artist and singer, and has released 6 albums. Additionally, Winfree has produced the theme music for multiple radio stations throughout the United States. His song "One On One" was featured in the movie soundtrack from "The Transporter," covered by R&B icon Keith Sweat.
In just their first year together, “Winfree & Kevin” have built an arsenal of over 60 cover songs from artists including Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and John Legend.
As a solo performer, Kevin also has experience performing for wedding ceremonies, and when performing in restaurant settings, he has an arsenal of well over a hundred songs ranging from jazz standards to the Beatles and Elton John.
