Jacob - Drums/Percussion
Originally from Jefferson, Ohio, Jacob has spent most of his life surrounded by music. Jacob first discovered his love of music through Guitar Hero. In high school, he was involved extensively with music and was head chair in marching, concert, and jazz bands. He then went to Ohio University to further expend his music training, including music theory and music history. Jacob received his B.A. in Music Business/Marketing in 2018. While in Athens, he played for several projects in the area and worked on mastering his skills.
Moving to Toledo in 2019, he has since become a part of the local music scene, playing in his band, Nobody Wins. Jacob has experience in all types of drumming, including latin, rock, funk, hip-hop, punk, jazz, hardcore, and country. Some favorite performers include José Passilas and Travis Barker. He is very excited to help new students find their voice behind the kit, and become an overall more rounded instrumentalist.
Some of Jacob’s hobbies outside of music include video games, cooking, Legos, and watching the Cleveland Cavs and Cleveland Guardians.
