David - Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele
From a very young age through high school, David actively played drums and guitar. With continued enthusiasm for music and guitar, he went on to Berklee College of music in Boston. Starting his full time, professional career, David played pop and jazz music in hotels and resorts, acting as an arranger and band leader.
Eight years later, still wanting to pursue music as a career, David studied Music Therapy at Eastern Michigan University and has been a clinical music therapist in the Toledo region for over 20 years. Along with primarily using guitar and voice for his music therapy work, David has consistently used keyboard, percussion, and metallophone instruments.
Throughout his career, David has also developed skills and a passion for digital sound recording and songwriting. In 2015, this experience culminated in a CD/E book for special needs students, teachers and families called Modern Music Learning for the School-aged Child. Wanting to share his experience with Forte Music students and families, David teaches piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele. In the future, David would love to develop Forte Music programs in digital sound recording and song writing.
