Ben - Piano, Guitar, Ukulele

Ben, originally from Toledo, is a multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. His musical journey began on the trombone, inspired by his two accomplished older sisters who were a violist and a flutist. Growing up, there was always a piano in his house and at school, which allowed Ben to develop an intimate familiarity with the instrument from an early age.
During high school, Ben had the opportunity to study jazz piano one-on-one with the renowned Toledo native pianist, Mark Kieswetter. He has since performed with numerous ensembles in various venues around the Toledo area.
In 2005, Ben earned a certification in recording engineering from the Recording Workshop in Chillcothe, OH. Since then, he has taken on roles as an engineer, producer, and performer on several recording projects, both for himself and for friends and colleagues.
More recently, Ben has found a passion in the bicycle world and now works full-time as a bicycle mechanic in a local shop. Despite his busy schedule, he still manages to find time to play the piano, record music privately, and share his musical knowledge and experience with eager learners at Forté.
