Stephanie - Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele
Stephanie is a passionate and experienced singer-songwriter with over 40 years of guitar experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a double major in Music Applied Study (guitar, vocals, and piano) and Music Merchandising from Ashland University. Her musical style blends elements of folk-rock, blues, and Americana, drawing inspiration from artists like Brandi Carlile, Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge, and P!nk.
Stephanie’s love for music began in childhood through singing. A pivotal moment came at the age of four, when she saw Donny Osmond perform on the Andy Williams Show, a performance that sparked her dream of becoming a musician. As she grew, her musical journey expanded to include drumming in a polka band and later, discovering her deep connection with the guitar in college. After writing her first song and collaborating with a guitarist friend, she was so inspired by the harmony added to her lyrics that she learned to play guitar herself—performing her first live gig just one month later.
In addition to guitar, Stephanie is skilled in vocals, bass, drums, ukulele, and piano. She also teaches music theory and songwriting and has experience leading church choirs and worship teams.
As a teacher, Stephanie loves guiding students of all ages and skill levels. Her favorite moments are seeing students' progress and witnessing the joy on their faces when they achieve a new milestone in their playing.
Outside of music, Stephanie enjoys gardening, especially growing fresh vegetables, as well as camping and spending time in the great outdoors.
Today, Stephanie focuses on her original acoustic music while sharing her love and knowledge of music through teaching. She is excited to help students grow in their musical journey with creativity, confidence, and joy.
