Nyzziah - Voice, Piano
Nyzziah (or Ny) is a passionate musician, vocalist, and educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Tiffin University. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has performed in a variety of ensembles, including serving as the lead vocalist for the funk group Word on the Street and as an alto in the university’s premier a cappella group, Up in the Air.
Ny’s musical journey began at the age of 12, when she discovered her love for performing through musical theatre. She has since appeared in productions such as Beauty and the Beast and Into the Woods. Her dedication to musical excellence also led her to a jazz internship under Cleveland jazz native Michael Shirtz, where she deepened her understanding of performance and improvisation.
As both a musician and educator, Ny’s mission is to create a safe, inspiring space for future artists to explore, express, and share their passions freely—without limitations or restrictions. She strives to empower her students to embrace their individuality and to use music as a powerful means of self-expression and connection.
