Diego - Brass, Guitar, Upright Bass, Electric Bass, Piano

Diego offers lessons in brass, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, and jazz. He received his bachelors in Jazz Studies from the University of New Mexica and his Masters from Bowling Green State University. During the 2012-2013 academic year, Diego spent a year abroad learning different languages and traveling while studying at the University of Bonn and the Musik Hochschule in Cologne Germany.
Throughout the last several years, Diego has had the pleasure of giving masterclasses and private lessons in Ohio, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas schools. In Nevada, Diego was the jazz guest artist for DaMonte high school and worked with their jazz bands, jazz combos, and wind ensemble. In Texas, he has worked with several high schools in the Houston and Corpus Christi areas, giving their low brass students private lessons and leading masterclasses. As well as teaching, Diego is highly sought after as a performer in a variety of ensembles and musical styles. He has worked with all the major musical theatre companies in the Northwest Ohio area and has played with the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, the Toledo Symphony Chamber players, the Toledo Symphony Brass quintet, and many others.
Additionally, Diego is employed at Owens Community College as their adjunct instructor of Euphonium. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Sarah, playing with his cat, Peanut, and all kinds of bicycle riding.
