Amber - Voice
Amber is a passionate music educator who recently returned to Toledo after spending several years teaching privately in the Chicago area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Adrian College in 2015 and has been dedicated to nurturing students’ musical growth ever since.
Amber’s love of music began at the age of ten when she started playing the flute, but it was her early involvement in singing that truly sparked her passion for music. As a young student, she eagerly seized every opportunity to sing, from joining her local church’s music program to auditioning for school musicals. It wasn’t until her time at Adrian College that Amber began formal vocal training, where she discovered that her true passion was in singing.
With a diverse background in both instrumental and vocal music, Amber brings a well-rounded approach to her teaching. As a vocal instructor, she emphasizes creating a supportive environment where students can discover and develop their unique voices. Amber encourages her students to explore a wide range of repertoire, tailoring each lesson to fit their individual goals. Through a variety of vocal exercises, she helps students of all ages and skill levels build strong technique while fostering a love for music and personal expression.
Amber’s teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and giving students the freedom to progress at their own pace. She strives to inspire confidence and a lifelong love of music in all of her students.
