Aidan - Drums, Percussion
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, percussionist and educator Aidan is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance at the University of Michigan. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance from Oberlin Conservatory. He has studied under esteemed professors such as Ian Antonio, Doug Perkins, and Tom Sherwood. As an orchestral musician, Aidan has performed with many groups including the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, Lakeside Symphony Orchestra, Jackson Symphony Orchestra, Toledo Opera, and Toledo Symphony Orchestra. He has also worked with prominent musicians including Michael Rosen, Pablo Rieppi, Jamey Haddad, and Ross Karre.
Aidan possesses a broad range of skills in many areas of percussion. Specializing in orchestral percussion, Aidan is very knowledgeable of instruments often played in large and small ensemble settings. In addition, he is skilled in many different styles of drum set as well as a wide range of hand drums such as frame drum, pandeiro, congas and many more.
In addition to his music career, Aidan enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, studying the Bible, watching movies, and playing video games.
